DATACAD is a limited liability company founded in October 1996, when full development, distribution and marketing rights for the DataCAD product line were purchased from Micro Control Systems, Inc. (formerly Cadkey, Inc.). DATACAD's product development, sales, and marketing activities are managed at the corporate headquarters in Avon, Connecticut.
